How Too Many Credit Inquiries Can Hurt You Credit Score
Realistically, it’s going to take a great number of inquiries to do any real damage to your credit score, however, it’s generally not a good idea to get a lot of them at one time. When a company pulls up your report and sees that you’ve been applying at a lot of other places recently, this sends up a red flag and tells that either they all turned you down, so they should too, or that you’ve got a lot of other accounts just recently opened. None of that is something they will likely want to deal with. But in terms of lasting damage if you haven’t gotten many inquiries more recently, you’re not going to fall that far down the credit score scale from this alone.
