Most of the governments extend these deadlines for the tax credits so that more people can take advantage of it. The government through such measures also wants to give a message to the budding entrepreneurs and already established companies that they are pro alternative energy projects. An individual interested in these credits can take them up to a certain cap or have them as percentage of the total cost of the energy project. The cost would include both the purchase and installation of the heating systems. The unfortunate part is that people who own solar tubs and pools cannot avail these credit benefits. Fuel cells can have credit benefits and all the equipments which are approved and given a certification by SRCC or any other certifying corporation chosen by the government can avail these credit and deduction benefits.
