A Low EFC on my FAFSA
I was able to get a low EFC on my FAFSA thanks to the college financial planning services that my parents hired. I was shocked at what the legal maneuvers would allow me to get in terms of financial aid. My friend, who has a family with similar assets and income did not qualify for much financial aid. Much of his package was unsubsidized student loans. I was very glad that I was able to lower my EFC by quite a bit.
